The frozen body of the female doctor was lying in her house

Jumbangla Desk: Medical Officer of Panchagarh Atwari Upazila Health Complex Dr. Fairuz Anika Washema Prinan committed suicide. Police recovered his body on Tuesday (September 17) morning. The family and the police said that he committed suicide by twisting the veil with a fan in his room and hanging himself. Police believe that he may have committed suicide due to family conflict and depression.

The deceased Dr. Prinan is the daughter of BNP leader of Boda upazila and former upazila chairman Abdul Aziz. According to the family, after hearing no response from Prinan in the morning, the family broke the door and found him lying on the floor with his neck veil hanging. Some parts of the veil were hanging from the fan in the room. After recovering the frozen body and taking it to Boda Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Mozammel Haque, OC of Boda police station, said that a noose was found around the neck of the deceased woman doctor . It is believed that he may have committed suicide due to family conflict and depression.

He further said that as there was no complaint from the family and following their request, the body was handed over without post-mortem. A wrongful death case has been registered in this regard.

By the way, Dr. Fairuz Anika Washema Prinon joined Boda Upazila Health Complex as Medical Officer on July 2 through 39th BCS and was serving in the post.
