Shahadat Hossain: The eyes are the royal gate of the heart. Sin is a wide path to the heart. People get involved in many evil deeds because of eyes. The eyes accelerate the destruction of the heart.

In the Qur'an and Hadith, people are repeatedly warned about vision. Let's learn the horrors of eye sins from the hadith.

Allah's instruction on the protection of the eyes
Eyes are a great blessing given to the servant by Allah. He gave us eyes to see signs. The servant should know his Lord by using the blessings; Being grateful to him. Allah said, 'Look, how I describe the signs, so that they understand.' (Surah: Anam, verse: 65)

Sight is the devil's poisoned arrow

Satan uses all the weapons to lead people astray. Human eyes are one of them. Sight is the devil's poisoned arrow. Ibn Mas'ud (RA) narrated. The Prophet (PBUH) said, 'Sight is the poisoned arrow of Satan. Whoever guards his sight out of fear of Allah, Allah will give him a faith whose sweetness he will feel in his heart.' (Tabrani, Hadith: 10362)

Non-observance of vision disturbs the mind

Immoral use of the eyes disturbs the mind. It has to be burnt due to lack of availability and regret. Ibn al-Qayyim (R.A.) said, Whoever abandons the vision, his regrets and heartaches will last. More harmful to the heart is to leave the eyes open. For, he shows him things which he cannot endure and cannot attain. And it is very painful.

Unsolicited sight after unsolicited sight

People should always be extremely careful about looking at unwanted forbidden objects. So that the eyes are not stuck on any forbidden thing. If the sight falls, it is the absolute duty of a true Muslim to quickly remove the sight. The Prophet (PBUH) addressed Ali (RA) and said, O Ali! Don't let sight follow sight (don't follow unwanted sight with intent); Because the first is lawful for you, but the second is unlawful. (Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2777)

Eyewitness testimony against the person

On the Day of Judgement, a person's limbs will testify for him or against him. Confession of good deeds and bad deeds will be described frankly. Allah says, 'Surely the ear, the eye and the heart will all be questioned.'

(Surah: Bani Israel, verse: 36)

Punishment for looking at illegal objects

Our eyes do not want to move away from the forbidden things. If you see a woman or a man, instead of turning your eyes away, look closely. Plays, movies, TV or movie screens, mobile screens, posters and billboards are everywhere. eyesore Will this sin be forgiven? Abu Huraira (RA) narrated from the Prophet (PBUH), 'Looking at the zina (of forbidden things) of the eyes.' (Bukhari, Hadith: 6122)

To save from the sin of the eyes

Avoiding evil company is necessary to avoid evil eye. If you can afford it, you should get married quickly and not fast. I want to keep awake in the heart the horror of the evil gaze of the eyes . Refraining from visiting places where the eyes are treacherous. If you see something bad, ask for forgiveness quickly. Above all, pray with complete devotion. Because 'Prayer prevents indecent and indecent acts.' (Surah: Ankabut, verse: 45)
