Rise of stock market indices

Jumbangla Desk: On the third working day of the week, Wednesday (September 18), the country's main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and another market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) are trading with increasing indices. In the first half an hour, the transaction of DSE exceeded 74 crore rupees. This information is known from DSE and CSE sources.
Half an hour after the start of trading on Wednesday, i.e. at 10:30 am, the general index of DSE DSEX increased by 11 points from the previous day and stood at 5,692 points. DSE Shariah index rose by 3 points and DSE-30 index by 2 points to 1241 and 2071 points respectively. Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 74 crores and 7 lakhs have been traded during this period.
Shares of 193 companies traded on Wednesday increased, 77 decreased and 67 remained unchanged.
Earlier today, the DSEX index rose by 1 point in the first 5 minutes of trading. At 10:10 AM, the index increased by 9 points from its previous position. After that the speed of the index is seen upward. 20 minutes after the start of trading, i.e. at 10:20 am, the index increased by 12 points from the previous day and stood at 5,694 points.
On the other hand, half an hour after the start of trading ie at 10:30 am, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) CASPI index increased by 5 points and stood at 16 thousand 82 points. After that the speed of the index is seen upward.
Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 78 lakh have been traded in CSE till 10:30 am today. During this period, the price of 9 companies increased, 21 decreased and the share price of 8 companies remained unchanged.
