Dal with hot rice is a favorite dish of Bengalis. Cooking pulses with Amra makes it incomparable to eat. Let's know the recipe for making this dal with raw amra and sour taste.


Materials

Amaranth- 4-5
pulses- 3-4 cups
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Chili powder- 1/2 tsp
Mustard oil- 1-2 tbsp
Dry red chillies- 2/3 tsp
Panchphodan- 1/2 tsp
Water- as required
Salt- as per taste

First, wash the amras well.


Now peel off the peel. Put water in a pan on the stove. When the water boils, boil the amras. Once cooked, take the amra out of the oven.
Allow time to cool. Once cool, break it lightly.
Wash the dal in this water without discarding the boiled water.
Now place a fry pan in the oven. Add mustard oil to it.


After that shake lightly with panchphodon, break dry red chillies in it and shake lightly. Add the sticky amra. Stir for a while and pour the washed dal.

Now add salt, turmeric powder and chili powder as per taste. Stir all the ingredients for 4-5 minutes. Allow time for dal to cook.
When the amra dal becomes a little thick, take it off the stove. Garnish as desired and serve with hot rice.
