Professor Muhammad Yunus said in the meeting that any amount of donations should be kept in account and the list of donors should be kept. If possible, their names should be published on the website of the foundation, he said. He said that the health ministry will pay the medical expenses of the injured. The compensation that the foundation will pay to the injured will be in addition to the government's medical expenses. At this time, the committee called on Bangladeshi expatriates and organizations and businesses to donate to the foundation.


Meanwhile, the emergency financial support program of 'Julai Shahid Smriti Foundation' has started this week. Information and Broadcasting Adviser Nahid Islam said that a fund of Tk 100 crore has already been donated to the Foundation from the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund.


Before this, he said in a press conference in the secretariat's ministry meeting room last Thursday (September 12), chief advisor Dr. 'Julai Shahid Smriti Foundation' has been formed with Muhammad Yunus as the president and Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha, the brother of Shahid Muddar, as general secretary in the student movement.

 

He also said that a seven-member executive council has been formed for this foundation. Which has also been registered. Kazi Waqar Ahmed has been made the treasurer of this foundation. He is kept in this profession for his skills. Advisors include Nahid Islam, Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, Noorjahan Begum and Sharmin Murshid. He also said that 14 more ordinary members will be added to it.
