According to media reports, a 31-year-old woman from Hyogo Prefecture told the police that she received uncomfortable blank calls every day in July and August. The caller did not speak after answering the phone. At first she expressed her concern about it to her husband. But his apathy and lack of concern frustrated him.

At one point, the woman noticed that her husband did not receive phone calls when he was sleeping, playing sports or spending time with her. As his suspicions grow, he plans an experiment. While shopping together, she closely observed her husband's activities. She noticed that her husband did not touch the phone at that time and no call was received.
