The name of the male person of the couple is Anirban Chowdhury. Who identifies himself as a credit card enthusiast. Recently X (ex-Twitter) shared details of his luxury trip through a post.

There, he noted, he and his wife experienced their dream come true by staying at the JW Marriott Masai Mara in Kenya.

However, the cost of staying at the luxurious resort in the African country was eye-catching! The cost of each night there is 5 and a half lakh rupees (including taxes).

Anirban Chowdhury said he booked the resort using Marriott Bonvoy points. In his post, he mentioned, this all-inclusive package included everything from accommodation to meals, selected beverages and other luxury services. These included Bush Mills, Sundowners and daily game drives. Also included are activities such as horse riding, hot air balloon rides and paid Maasai village visits.

Anirban also said that he used 16,000 Marriott Bonvoy points to book a night at the resort and was willing to pay 2 lakh points for the experience.

He said it was completely all-inclusive, so there was no extra cost.

His post on X went viral and received more than 1.5 million views. One user commented, I've never seen anything like this before—what an amazing experience! But the cost is really unbelievable.

Another added, 'It's a dream vacation. If there were points, I would also consider it'.

Anirban clarified that the cost per night is Rs 3.5 lakh, but with taxes it comes to Rs 5.5 lakh. The total cost for five nights stands at Rs 2.75 lakh. However, he reduced the cost by using 4 lakh 24 thousand Marriott Bonvoy points.

He gave points for four nights because of Marriott's 'fifth night free' program. Which has significantly reduced its total cost.
