Anisul Haque and Salman F Rahman remanded

Jumbangla Desk: The court granted a 5-day remand to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's private industry and investment adviser Salman F Rahman and former law minister Anisul Haque.
Today (September 19) they were remanded in the Foreign Exchange Control Act case. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate said in the morning. Arifur Rahman gave this order.
On this day, the police presented them to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka from the jail and requested to take them on seven days remand along with showing their arrest in this case. On the other hand, the accused heard the cancellation of the remand and sought bail.
However, if the state opposes the bail, after the hearing of both parties, the Metropolitan Magistrate said. Arifur Rahman granted their 5-day remand. They were remanded in the fourth round.
Salman F Rahman and Anisul Haque were arrested from the capital's Sadarghat area while escaping by boat on August 13. Then they were remanded for 25 days in three phases. Last Wednesday (September 18) morning, the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court showed the arrest in a new case and ordered to send them to jail.
