Afghanistan made history in South Africa

In the first ODI of the series, Afghanistan crushed South Africa with excellent bowling. Wien Mulder's fifty somehow got the Proteas all out to reach three figures. Chasing an easy target, Afghanistan won by 6 wickets. Afghans tasted South Africa defeat for the first time in any version of cricket.

Yesterday, Wednesday (September 18) in Sharjah, South Africa were all out for 106 runs in 33 overs. In response, Afghans reached the port of victory after losing 4 wickets in 26 overs. Afghanistan lead the three-match series 1–0.

Chasing the target of 107 runs, Rahmanullah Gurbaz returned in the first over. Afghanistan was under pressure when Rahmat Shah (8) also returned to the team's 15 runs. After that, two Afghan batsmen Riaz Hasan and Hashmatullah Shahidi played together. Riaz (16) went back to the team's 38 runs.
