Men and women who have been working as domestic workers in the homes of foreign citizens for more than a century have got this opportunity. Expatriates from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka have taken this opportunity the most. Expatriates have changed visas to different companies according to their skills and opportunities.

To reduce the labor crisis and labor costs, the change from number 20 domestic worker to 18 number for the company visa is given from July 14 to September 12. About 55,000 domestic workers from different countries applied for change of worker visa within the specified period.

A Bangladeshi expatriate named Abu Chadek said, 'After the arrival of the domestic worker visa in 2016, I could not do it even if I got the opportunity to work in different places. I changed my visa to a travel agency to give this opportunity. Many skilled Bangladeshis like me have changed visas to different companies according to their skills. In this, the family's wealth will return as well as the country's remittances will increase. If you want, you can trade in the business with a license under your own name.

Another expatriate said. Rubel Hossain said, 'I have changed visa from housekeeper number 20 to taxi company. Now I can work freely. If you work hard, there is an opportunity for extra income. I can bring my family if I want.'

The directive came from Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef - to grant a grace period to those wishing to transfer from domestic worker visas to the private sector. Companies and organizations take such initiatives to hire local workers and reduce labor costs.
