Nahid Islam told the Banglalink representatives to launch unlimited internet packages considering the needs of the people. The adviser said this during the Banglalink delegation's meeting with the adviser at the office of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications on Wednesday (September 18).

Nahid Islam said, in view of the demand of the young generation, besides reducing the price of internet, all the mobile operators should try to introduce unlimited internet packages.

When the chief executive officer of Veon Limited, Kan Turzioglu, talked about reducing the tax on SIM cards in Bangladesh, the adviser said that the Ministry of Finance is involved in the tax, so we have to discuss it with them.

Banglalink Chief Legal Officer Jaharat Adeeb Chowdhury mentioned various restrictions on the use of the popular application Toffee, the advisor said, the matter will be looked into. Kan Turzioglu expressed his interest in investing in Bangladesh.
