Dharma Desk: The transitory world is like an examination hall for the believer. To be successful in the hereafter, one must succeed in this exam. After that, the desired paradise will be found. In the Holy Qur'an, Almighty Allah said, 'I have beautified everything that is on the earth, so that I can test people as to who is best in deeds.' (Surat al-Kahf, verse 7)

Another verse says, 'Give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them are gardens beneath which rivers will flow. (Surah Baqarah, verse: 25). It is also said, 'And those who believe and do righteous deeds, they are the inhabitants of Paradise. They will be there permanently.' (Surah Baqarah, verse: 82)
On the other hand, in a hadith narrated from Abdullah Ibn Masood (RA), Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said - He who has faith as much as a mustard seed in his heart will not enter Hell. And a person who has ahamika (conceit) of a mustard seed in his heart will not enter Paradise. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 168)
But there are two classes of people who will not go to Paradise, they will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise. In a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah (RA), he said, Rasulullah (SAW) said - There are two types of people in Hell whom I have not (yet) seen. A group of men, carrying whips like the tails of cows, would beat people with them. And another group of women, who are clothed but naked, (thankless in enjoying wealth and happiness), who attract and attract others, the condition of the hair on their heads is like the hump of a camel. They will not enter Paradise, nor will they smell its fragrance. However, its fragrance (paradise) can be found from so far away. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 5397)
