Science and Technology Desk: The world is going to witness another cosmic rare event. Another moon-like satellite is rushing from far away under the pull of Earth's gravity. Named '2024 PT5', the satellite is about 10 meters or 33 feet in diameter.

Currently, this 'mini moon' is at the center of discussion among astronauts. Although it will not be as beautiful as the moon. It is essentially an asteroid, so the size will be extremely small. Many scientists also refer to it as quasi moon or half moon.

According to the American Astronomical Society researchers, it will orbit like the moon from September 29 to November 25, influenced by the Earth's gravity. After November 25, the asteroid will escape Earth's gravity and then go back into orbit on its own. These two months will add new information to the study of the magnetic field created from it, scientists hope.

It can hardly be seen with the naked eye. 2024 PT5 will remain elusive without special tools to observe the space scene. After orbiting the Earth, PT5 will move on to orbit the Sun.
