In this incident, on August 26, the victim's father, Abdul Matin, filed a murder case at the Dhanmondi police station as the plaintiff.

176 names including Sheikh Hasina are mentioned in the case. Besides, 250/300 unknown persons were made unknown accused. Accused No. 22 of this case is Manik.
