The two students who were attacked are students of class 10 of that school. In this incident, the mother of a student who was attacked in the name of four members of the juvenile gang filed a written complaint with the Kapasia police station.

According to the complaint lodged with the police station, two students of class 10 of Kapasia Government Pilot High School went outside the main gate to have breakfast during tiffin. At that time Shubo (26), Fahim (18), Joy (19) and Siam (20) from the nearby Kulupara area caught them and took them to the shore of Shitalakshya. They kept them locked there and started killing, punching and kicking them. At that time, when they shouted, when the people around appeared, the juvenile gang members stabbed Rafi and fled with about 4 thousand rupees and a watch.

Some of the ninth and tenth class students of the school, who did not wish to be named, said that they are afraid to come to school due to the fear of gangs. They often capture students and hold them naked and videotape them and demand ransom. Two months ago, a class IX student was detained like this and extorted 5 thousand rupees. A few days ago, a 10th class student was arrested and an attempt was made to collect a ransom of Tk 1 lakh. A juvenile gang member was arrested when a police complaint was filed in this regard.

When asked about this, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kapasia police station said. Kamal Hossain said, 'I have received a complaint about this. Legal action will be taken after investigation.'
