Jumbangla Desk: The Meteorological Office has said that a storm with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour may occur over 3 regions of the country.

The weather forecast for the country's inland river ports from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Thursday (September 19) said.
Meteorologist Md. The notification signed by Tariful Newaz Kabir said that rain/thundershower with gusty/stormy wind at 45-60 kmph may occur over Khulna, Barisal and Patuakhali areas today from South/South-East direction.
River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
Another weather bulletin said that there may be light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds at some places in Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and at two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
Along with this, there may be moderate heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.
It is also said that a mild heat wave is flowing over Tangail, Kishoreganj and Naogaon districts along with Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and may continue.
According to the weather synoptic condition, the apparent low pressure over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas has weakened and converged with the monsoon axis. The extension of the monsoon axis extends over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam.
