After only 2 months, it will go back to its previous address, meaning in its own orbit.

Scientists benefited from this new moon coming into the earth's orbit. They can do detailed research on the asteroid. In fact, when this 'mini moon' revolves around the Earth, a magnetic field will be generated. And by researching it, scientists can learn a lot of new information.

A group of scientists and students are researching this new moon. The head of this group is Professor Carlos de la Fuente Marcos of Spain's Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He told science website Space.com, 'The asteroid came from the Arjuna asteroid belt. It is the minor or secondary asteroid belt of the Solar System, the asteroids in this area are mainly made of rock. The orbit of this circle is about 15 million kilometers wide.

He also said, 'The size of some objects in this asteroid belt is about 4.5 million kilometers. One of them can come towards the earth at a speed of about 3 thousand 540 km.

Of course, there is nothing to fear even if these asteroids rush towards the earth. Many asteroids approach Earth this way. Again they go out. Some come back through the Earth's atmosphere. They burn to ashes on coming to the surface. However, if the size of the asteroid is large, not all of it can turn into ash. Hit the earth. There is nothing to fear now. If such an asteroid is likely to hit the Earth, NASA can change the orbit of the asteroid in advance, so that it does not hit the Earth.

The new moon is relatively small. The asteroid is only 33 feet in diameter. Apart from that, there is no danger of entering the earth's orbit. It has become a guest of the earth, it will go around our planet for a few days and go back to its home address.

But this is not the first such incident. Such temporary moons have been seen before. This has happened only twice. One is named '2006 RH120'. The 20-foot-wide asteroid orbited Earth for nine months in 2006 and 2007. There is a little disagreement about it. Many believe that it actually orbited the Earth for 18 months. The other one is called '2020 CD3'. The 11.5-foot-long asteroid left Earth's orbit in March 2020. However, the asteroid orbited the earth for three years before leaving.
