BGB raids terrorists hideout in Bandarban, arms and ammunition recovered

Jumbangla Desk: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has found a hideout of terrorists in Dopanichara area on the remote border of Bandarban. Weapons, ammunition, drones and various equipment including signal jammers have been recovered from there.

Jumbangla Desk: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has found a hideout of terrorists in Dopanichara area on the remote border of Bandarban. Weapons, ammunition, drones and various equipment including signal jammers have been recovered from there.

This was announced today in a press release of BGB.

It is said that, based on intelligence information, BGB has come to know that a group of mountain terrorists are carrying out their activities by setting up a hideout in the dense forest adjacent to Dopanichara area on the remote border of Ruma in Bandarban. In this context, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Hasibul Haque, the commander of BGB's Ruma Battalion (9 BGB), an operation was conducted in the dense jungle of Dopanichara area on the border.


2 automatic carbine assault rifles, 1 semi-automatic assault rifle, 3 SBBLs, 21 rounds of fresh ammunition, 1 high-tech drone, 1 high-tech signal jammer, 1 audio-video recorder, 1 video camera, 1 high-tech dependent from Astana. Various equipment including detective button cameras were recovered.

Observation post, makeshift armory, rest house, cook house etc. were also found. Later BGB members destroyed that terrorist hideout.
