It is known that there was an attack and robbery at Bhai Bhai Engineering Workshop in Upazila Sadar on Thursday afternoon. At this time Babul and his associates beat a shop owner named Munchur Ali and broke his leg.

Moniruzzaman, the nephew of the injured Munchur Ali, told the media that I do not do politics with member secretary Nurul Amin Babul. For this reason, I was being threatened for quite some time. Threatened me on the phone this morning and said you can't do business in the market. If you want to do business in Koira market, you have to pay one lakh rupees. I protested over the phone.

Moniruzzaman said, because I protested, Babul got angry and attacked and vandalized 5 shops along with my business establishment along with 20 to 30 activists. In this incident, my younger uncle businessman Munshur Ali got his leg broken and my younger brother Milan, cousin Al Mamun got seriously injured.

When asked about this matter, member secretary of Upazila BNP Nurul Amin Babul said that there was a dispute over land and money. That's why they were supposed to sit. But since Moniruzzaman did not appear, he was asked about the matter. They get mad at me while talking. Later I left that place. Then the beating happened. Several people were injured on both sides.

Three people named Munchur Gain (55), Al Mamun (30) and Nurul Huda (50) were seriously injured in the attack by Babul forces. The injured were immediately admitted to Koira Upazila Health Complex. Among the injured, Munsoor Gain has been sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital for better treatment as his condition is critical.

After investigation, it is known that after the coup d'état of the students and Janata on August 5, Babul, member secretary of Upazila BNP, has been accused of various crimes including ghat occupation, fence occupation, land occupation, extortion and looting in Koira police station. The common people are now fed up with their rule. No one opened their mouths against them in fear!

Some workers of the Koira bus stand area, who did not want to be named, said that Babul started extortion like Awami League after occupying the Koira bus stand. Apart from this, there are allegations against Babul of encroachment, extortion from businessmen, sheltering opposition political leaders and extorting huge sums of money from them. Reports of attacks and looting against his forces became an open secret to the common people of Koira.

In this regard, the OC (Investigation) of Koira Police Station said. Shah Alam said that there was a fight between two groups of BNP in front of Koira Kapotaksh College at noon. I went to the spot and tried to control the situation. However, several people were injured in this incident. The injured have been sent to hospital for treatment. However, no complaint has been received in this regard yet. Now the situation is normal.
