4 Jail Superintendents on Compulsory Retirement

Jumbangla Desk: The government has decided to send the jail supervisor (superintendent) of Shariatpur, Manikganj, Tangail and Habiganj districts on compulsory retirement.

On Thursday (September 19), the Security Services Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a separate notification in this regard.

These four supervisors are Subhash Kumar Ghosh of Shariatpur District Jail, Bajlur Rashid Akhand of Manikganj District Jail, Makleshur Rahman of Tangail District Jail and Neshar Alam of Habiganj District Jail.

Among them, Subhash had a service tenure of nine years, Bajlur two years, Moklechur four months and Neshar three and a half years.

The notification states that they have been retired from government service in public interest as per the provisions of Section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018).
