Sylhet couple goes missing after bathing at Inani beach

Jumbangla Desk: It has been reported that a tourist has gone missing while taking a bath at Cox's Bazar Inani beach. The incident took place on the beach behind Inani Kingfish Hotel on Friday (September 20) afternoon. The name of the missing tourist is Faisal Ahmed. He is a resident of Sylhet.

Beach staff in-charge Belal Uddin confirmed the matter. He said, Inani went down to the beach behind the Kingfish Hotel as husband and wife to take a bath. At one point in the bath, the wife got up, but the husband disappeared. When the wife informed us, we started rescue operations. But still no trace of him has been found.

A nut seller named Kamrul said that the husband and wife went down to take a bath. After 10 minutes, when the wife came forward, she said that her husband had drowned in the water. We searched a lot ourselves but could not find him.
