Hasan Mahmud has just started playing the fourth Test. In the meantime, he has taken the second 5 wickets. The first fifer against Pakistan in Rawalpindi was followed by the second against India in Chennai yesterday. The M Chidambaram Stadium in Chipok, known as a spin heaven, was suffering from the batsmen from day one. After four wickets yesterday, he returned Jasprit Bumrah back to back 5 wickets in the morning.

History of Hasan

Hasan is also the first Bangladeshi cricketer to get 5 wickets against India on Indian soil. He had to spend 83 runs to reach this milestone. Earlier in 2019, Abu Zayed Rahi took 4 wickets for 108 runs in Indore. Not only that, after 11 years on Chennai soil, any pacer has seen 5 wickets. In 2013, Australian pacer James Pattinson got a 5-wicket haul.

His bowling has been shining for years. He was the regular face of the team in colorful clothes. However, he made his Test debut in the cool version of cricket in March this year. After taking 2 wickets in the first innings against the Lankans in Chittagong, he took 4 wickets in the second innings. He took 6 wickets in two innings. Because of that, he got a place in the Test series against Pakistan.

After taking 2 wickets in the first innings of the first Test in Rawalpindi in that series, he had to be satisfied with 1 wicket in the second innings. However, in that match, the pitch spoke somewhat in favor of the spinners. However, Hasan's hunger was still there. To meet this, Ashwaya was wicketless in the first innings of the second Test. But in the second innings of that match, he became even more terrifying.

He took the first 5 wickets of his Test career in that innings which became great. Mohammad Rizwan, Abdullah Shafiq, Khurram Shehzad along with Mir Hamza and Mohammad Ali took wickets. Hasan, who took 8 wickets in two Tests, is spreading the light by visiting India. He is making the whole Bangladesh laugh with pace ball.

Hasan came to India with 14 wickets in three Tests. The 24-year-old pacer showed how formidable he is on the very first day in Chennai. He took advantage of the weather. India's top and middle order could not play Hasan even though experienced Taskin Ahmed gave runs.

Hasan's biggest strength is long spells on the same line and length. His ball has speed. The way he plans every batter is reflected in the way he gets out. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were dismissed after punching the ball outside the off stump. Shubman Gill is back out again while playing the leg stump ball to fine leg. After the fall of three wickets, the skipper Shanto gave the ball to Hasan even when Jasswi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant were forming a pair. Hasan dismissed Panth with a ball outside the off stump.

The pacers had to struggle in the scorching heat. Meanwhile, Taskin was getting wickets at regular intervals. But Hasan Mahmud was panting. But India's last batsman forced Jasprit Bumrah to take a catch at slip. Hasan became the first Bangladeshi to take 5 wickets on Indian soil after taking Zakir's catch. Even though he reached the milestone on the second morning, the 24-year-old Hasan proved that he is a long race horse on the first day.
