Jumbangla Desk: The trial of the fascists will be on the soil of Bengal has commented the adviser of postal, telecommunication and information technology Md. Nahid Islam.

Nahid

He said this in response to reporters' questions after distributing relief to the flood victims at Bangakhan High School in Sadar Upazila on Friday (September 20).

Nahid Islam said, many of the cases that are in the country are not acceptable. In that case, we call for cases to be made on the basis of specific allegations. On the basis of that case, let the administration along with the police take quick action and arrest those involved.

Nahid said about the state reform program, we already have 6 reform committees. A meeting was also held with the committee on Thursday. The activities of the reform committee will start from October. There are plans to set up some other reform commissions including education and media. The commissions will formulate the outline through discussions with the concerned and experienced. Then all the political and social parties together we will start the reform program according to the outline.

He said, the big disaster of the coup has come to our country. We have seen that the people of the country have given maximum cooperation in this disaster. Together with the students, they worked shoulder to shoulder with the people and the administration. This trend will continue.

Regarding the flood situation, he said, now we are moving towards the rehabilitation of flood victims. We are working to advance the work in the fastest time. Water is receding, people are also leaving shelters. Water is receding late in Lakshmipur, as the canals here are overcrowded. If those canals can be cleared, it will be a long-term solution. Allotments have already been sent for the construction of houses for the flood victims here. According to that allocation, the house will be constructed very soon. Public health is our top priority. The government will work comprehensively to support this population starting from education-health for long-term rehabilitation.

Our goal in rehabilitation is to restore the overall damage to the previous location. The administration and the students of the anti-discrimination student movement have carried out the relief activities beautifully. Expect them to be equally active collectively in the rehabilitation process. Later he distributed food aid among the flood victims.
