Jumbangla Desk: The university authorities have temporarily expelled eight students in connection with the beating to death of Shamim Ahmed alias Shamim Molla, the former leader of Jahangirnagar University branch Chhatra League. This information was informed in an office order of Jahangirnagar University on Thursday (September 19).

The expelled are Mohammad Rajan Mia, a student of the 2016-2017 academic year of the Government and Politics Department, Raju Ahmed Sarkar of the same department of the 2015-16 academic year, Md. of the 2020-21 academic year of the English Department. Mamudul Hasan Raihan, Zubair Ahmed of History Department 2014-15 Academic Year, English Department 2019-2020 Academic Year Hamidullah Salman, Management Studies Department 2019-20 Academic Year Md.
