Jumbangla Desk: Commenting that the separatists of the Chittagong Hill Tracts should be suppressed by campaigning, President of the People's Rights Council Nurul Haque Noor said that many people are entering the field here without knowing the first thing about the hill, which is going against the state in many cases.

He said these things at a dialogue titled 'Voices of Adversity: Dreams and Reality' organized by the Center for Governance Studies (CGS) at Eskaton in the capital on Saturday (September 21).

Noor said, 'Rizwana Apa said, there will be no mirror. But when the next government comes, we don't know if there will be a mirror or not. But torture has not only happened in the last 15 years. It has happened before. Unless there is a change in the basic structure of the state system, it will remain a pumpkin. Will it all end only by balancing the power of the Prime Minister and the President? Fundamental changes in the parliamentary system and state structure should be brought.

"There was not much difference between the previous ruling parties. Corruption-misgovernance was almost the same. Now we have a chance. As long as reforms are needed, this government will remain. They have to give that time. But we will definitely criticize this government', he added.

He said, the political parties will be part of the government. But there is no open discussion with them. No formal discussion yet. The government should be transformed into a national government with political parties.

The President of Public Rights Council said, 'Many say Chittagong Association, NGO Association. Why this government is not inclusive form? Only a few coordinators will become a government? The foundation of this government is still weak. Many things cannot be controlled. My children are traumatized. My eldest son is still afraid of the police.'

Stating that the hills are in turmoil, he said that the previous beneficiaries are trying to destabilize the situation. Many people are entering the field here without knowing anything about the mountains, which in many cases is against the state. The separatists of the Chittagong Hill Tracts should be suppressed by raids.

Commenting that the minority is being used as a trump card, Noor asked, "Whose shop is the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian unity council?"
