Jumbangla Desk: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Wari Division Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) Md. Saleh Uddin said, we have started working with new enthusiasm. I want to provide the service of what policing really means to eliminate the situation that existed on or before August 5 and the perception that people had about the police.

He said these things in response to a question from journalists at a press conference organized at the DMP Media and Public Relations Center on Saturday (September 21).
He said, after last August 5 and many previous incidents, new setup of DCs starting from OC of police station like other divisions is coming. Anti-crime meetings have been held in various police stations. Where I sat with people from all walks of life. With everyone's opinion, I have assured them that in future policing will be done within the law in true sense.
DC Saleh Uddin said that the people's perception of the police before, especially in Wari section of DMP, will come out and do real policing.
He also said that he is working with the people and students to establish a beautiful and peaceful society.
