In such a situation, the Department of Meteorology has given good news. According to the Met office, a low pressure may develop in the Bay of Bengal area by next Monday. Due to this, the trend of rainfall may increase for the next five days.

According to meteorologist Khondkar Hafizur Rahman, the extension of the axis of the monsoon is extending through India's Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam. An extension of it extends to the northern Bay of Bengal. Also Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal. Besides, a low pressure may develop over North Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas by Monday.
In this situation, there may be light to moderate rain or thundershower with gusty wind temporarily in many places of Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and some places in Rangpur, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions till 6 pm on Sunday (September 22). Also, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, mild to moderate heat wave is currently occurring over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions along with Sylhet and Jessore districts. It can be mitigated from some places. Also during this time day temperature may drop slightly across the country and night temperature may remain almost unchanged.
