Jumbangla Desk: The uproar started after a voice recording of Brahmanbaria Jubo Mahila League vice-president Umme Honey Setu went viral on social media. On the record, he made allegations against the party leaders. Claimed leaders did not show respect to her and other women like her. Setu said, 'I made the team but never put it in a good place. Leaders looked crooked, why did you understand? I was beautiful enough to see, not awkward! They (Awami League leaders) considered us commodities.'

In this regard, Setu said, 'There have been 3 cases in my name. I am suffering from the cases, others are fine. They were supposed to suffer by playing the cases, but they left my 16-month-old baby lying in Dhaka and Chittagong. No one knows what my kids eat. No regrets about it.'

Setu complained, 'Bangla words should not be spoken, Bangladesh Awami League has been destroyed because of these dirty leaders. The central leaders used to make fun of the heroines, by doing this they have brought shame on the Awami League.'

It is known that Umm Hani Setu has recently been accused in 3 cases after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government and is currently in hiding. Several leaders of Brahmanbaria district Awami League said that he had sent this voice recording expressing his anger to some groups of the party on WhatsApp, which was later leaked.
