Demand for trial of 45 prominent citizens in the incident of violence

Jumbangla Desk: 45 prominent citizens and organizations have demanded speedy justice in the incidents of violence and casualties across the country including Chittagong Hill Tracts, DHA-Jabi and the capital. They also demanded to take effective steps to prevent such incidents.
In a statement on Saturday (September 21), prominent 45 citizens and representatives of various organizations made this demand.
According to the statement, Tofazzal, a mentally unstable young man, was beaten to death in Dhaka University on September 18 and Shamim Ahmed, a student of Jahangirnagar University and former Chhatra League leader, was beaten to death in Jahangirnagar University and 3 people were beaten and hacked to death in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, on September 20. There have been many other such atrocities across the country. These incidents show gross violations of human rights and the government's failure to control the law and order situation in the country. In this situation, every person of the country is suffering from extreme insecurity.
In addition to 45 prominent citizens in this incident, the women's side, Udichi industrial group has called upon the government and administration for an impartial investigation and their justice, arrest all the accused immediately and bring them to justice. In addition, the security of the citizens of the Chittagong Hill Tracts and to stop the violence in the hills has been demanded to take effective steps now.
