In the meantime, a low pressure may develop in the Bay of Bengal, said the Meteorological Department. In such a situation, the meteorological agency has predicted rain with gusty winds in all parts of the country. This information is given in the weather forecast for the next 72 hours from 9 am on Sunday (September 22).

According to the Meteorological Department, the extension of the monsoon axis extends over India's Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam. An extension of it extends to the northern Bay of Bengal. Also Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal. Besides, a low pressure may develop in the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas in the next 24 hours.

In this situation, light to moderate rain with gusty wind or rain with thunder may occur in many places of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Sunday. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, mild to moderate heat waves are currently flowing over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions along with Sylhet and Jessore districts. It may continue in the next 24 hours. Also, the day and night temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged during this time.

On the other hand, the weather forecast for Monday (September 23) has said that light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thunder may occur in many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Also, the day temperature may decrease by 1-2 degree across the country and the night temperature may decrease slightly.

Besides, the weather forecast for Tuesday (September 24) has said that light to moderate rain with gusty winds or gusty winds will occur in most parts of Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and many parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am on this day. There may be rain with thunder. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country.

However, day and night temperatures may drop slightly across the country during this time. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department also said that the trend of rainfall may continue for an extended period of 5 days.
