International Desk: The dismembered body of a young woman was found inside a flat in the Indian state of Karnataka. The body of the 29-year-old girl was cut into 30 pieces and left in the fridge. The incident took place at Malleswaram in the state capital Bengaluru, news agency PTI reported on Saturday citing the police.

The police said that they went to the flat and recovered the body parts after receiving the information about the incident on Saturday. He is believed to have been murdered a couple of weeks ago.

A police officer said that it has been possible to identify the young woman. The police got to know his name and identity. But for the sake of investigation, all that information is not being released now.

According to PTI, the young woman lived on rent in that one-room flat. He moved to that rented house three months ago. How he was killed, who or who killed him, is still unclear. The police have collected information about who entered the flat in the last few days.
