After a few months, domestic train movement is normal but Bangladesh-India rail communication is closed. Thousands of passengers of Maitri, Mithali and Bandhan Express are in trouble.


Passengers are coming to the counter in Kamalapur railway station every day in search of tickets. He spoke about the suffering of not getting a ticket. In such a reality, the passengers urge to start the inter-country rail communication as soon as possible.

Director General of Bangladesh Railways Sardar Shahadat Ali said that India has been contacted about the running of the train but has not yet received a response.

He told reporters that the authorities of India have been contacted from Bangladesh. Their views have been sought regarding the running of trains. But still not found. Now waiting for their opinion. Once the feedback is received, the train will be launched soon.
