International Desk: India has announced the finalization of the new initiative of 'Quad Scholarship' worth 500,000 dollars for 50 students from the Indo-Pacific region. For the first time, students from ASEAN countries have also been brought under this scholarship.

Under this scholarship, students interested in higher education can complete a four-year undergraduate engineering program in a technical institute funded by the Government of India. This was stated in the Wilmington Declaration issued at the end of the fourth phase of the in-person Quad Conference.

Hosted by US President Joe Biden, the Quad Leaders Summit took place in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware on Saturday (September 21) local time. It was attended by the heads of government of four countries belonging to the Quad Alliance. Along with Joe Biden, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida were there. Khabar Business Standard.
