BNP leaders expelled the chairman from the union council

Jumbangla Desk: Local BNP leaders and activists have been accused of throwing Natore union council chairman Nuruzzaman Kalu out of the council premises while distributing TCB products. The incident took place at No. 4 Lakshmipur Kholabaria Union Parishad office on Sunday (September 22).

According to Chairman Nuruzzaman Kalu and locals, distribution of TCB products started at Lakshmipur Kholabaria Union Parishad around 11:00 on Sunday. Chairman Nuruzzaman Kalu attended the Union Parishad for the inauguration and fair distribution. At that time, local BNP leaders and activists threw him out of the Union Parishad. Later, the chairman left the scene for his own safety.

Chairman Nuruzzaman said that he went home immediately after the incident to keep the situation in the area normal and to maintain peace.

Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Natore Sadar Police Station Shafiqul Islam said that no complaint has come to us regarding this or any such incident.
