But this time, the granddaughter is in trouble for saying this dialogue to the grandmother of a distant relation as a joke. In anger, Nani poured hot water on the girl named Popi Akhter (13). Various parts of Poppy's body were burnt.

Such an incident happened at Waj's house in Anwara Upazila Juidandi Union of Chittagong. Locals said that this incident happened last Thursday evening. Poppy is currently undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Poppy lives at her uncle's house in Juidandi as both her parents are dead. Poppy's uncle said. Aziz said that the puppy, who had lost his parents, was playing with his friends in the yard. Meanwhile, his cousin Nani's relative Sahara Khatun (55) said 'Murubbi murubbi unhu unhu' out of mischief. Then Sahara Khatun came and poured hot water on Poppy's body. It burns different parts of his body. Later, Anwara was taken to Upazila Health Complex and the doctors sent him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for better treatment. The accused is absconding since the incident.

Muhammad Monir Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Anwara Police Station, said that no one has filed any complaint in this incident. He said legal action will be taken if complaints are received.
