Tofajjal could not eat a plate of rice from the wife's hand, claimed the cousin

Jumbangla Desk : Tofazzal's cousin Asma Akhter Tania, who was killed in the thrashing of students in Dhaka University, claimed, 'There is a murderer in Tofazzal's family, he should also be brought to justice.'

He made this claim in a status on his Facebook ID on Sunday (September 22). There, Tofazzal's sister and brother's mother-in-law have been accused.

His status is precisely highlighted-

'There is a murderer in Tofajjal's family, he should also be brought to justice. Tofazzal is my cousin + milk brother (we grew up drinking milk from the same mother). Those who killed Tofajjal are definitely murderers. But in my opinion, two more of his murderers have been left out of the list of criminals, those two are his only sister and brother's mother-in-law.'

'Bhabis take care of them with love and affection like a mother - but Tofajjal was so unfortunate that she could never eat a plate of rice from the hands of Bhabis. Today that madman died in search of rice. Tofajjal's family was the last refuge, his only sister - who treated him like a dog and a cat.

'Tofazzel may be healthy, he never wanted it, you know why he didn't want it? Because if he is healthy he will share in all the property. When Tofajjal was being tortured by the students of Fazlul Haque Hall, the unfortunate girl asked Bavi to call her, perhaps thinking that Bavi's heart would cry for me at least a little. Do you know what his sister did when she got the call? He asked the students to prosecute the mobile thief and also asked him not to receive any further calls in this regard. Saying this, he turns off the phone at night and goes to sleep.

When Tofajzel's elder brother was on his deathbed at Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital, Tofajzel used to take care of his brother. At that time, I am living proof of how much mental torture her sister and her mother used to do. If he ever went to his sister-in-law hoping for a plate of rice, in village houses when a mad dog entered the house, he chased it with a stick, his sister-in-law would do the same.'

'Tofazzel's brother was a police SI. He left behind a fairly good estate, amounting to crores of rupees (pension, three life insurances, FDR, two or three shops near Charduani Bridge, holding some personal land and his father's property). It is good to say that Tofajzel's daughter is the only child of her parents. For this reason, he never wanted Tofajzel to be healthy.'

'Come to the real point, after the death of Tofajzel, his only sister stood as the only guardian. He's doing media interviews, crying, taking all kinds of help and support he's taking and will take in the future. I have only one question, what right is he taking? Tofazzal, who received little love from him while alive, is now coming as a Guardian. Do you know why it stands as the only guardian? He can now get a large amount of compensation for Tofajzel's death, I think he should keep this in mind - God forgives but does not give up, you are also responsible for Tofajzel's condition.'

'Please no media person or organization should use his sister in any way regarding Tofajjal's death. Tofajzel will not come back, no compensation for his death, no help cooperation, his sister or we who are relatives, no one needs. If someone wants to do something, perform a Milad in the mosque for him - for which Tofajzel's soul will rest in peace. Or thousands of hapless tofazzals wandering the streets - for a plate of rice, spend it on them.'

Earlier on Wednesday (September 18), Tofazzal died after being detained and physically tortured at Dhaka University's Fazlul Haque Muslim Hall on suspicion of being a thief. The deceased is the son of deceased Abdur Rahman Howladar of Charduani village of Kanthaltali union taluk of Patharghata upazila of Barguna.

A case has been filed in connection with this murder. Some have been arrested. Some defendants have also given statements in court.
