The gift that Modi gave to Biden

International Desk: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented an antique silver train to US President Joe Biden. He also gifted a pashmina shawl to US First Lady Jill Biden. The Quad summit of the United States, Australia, Japan and India was held last Saturday in Wilmington, Delaware. Modi attended this conference.

The model of the silver train gifted to Biden was created by artists from Maharashtra, India. The amount of silver in it is said to be 92.5 percent. On the other hand, pashmina shawls of Jammu and Kashmir have a global reputation. Modi gifted this shawl to Jill Biden.

The craftsmanship of the boxes in which the pashmina shawls are kept is also worth seeing. Traditionally, those shawls are boxed by Kashmiri artists. These boxes are made of paper and other natural materials. Artists cut designs on them.
