Brick-laden truck lost control in shop in Chittagong, 2 killed

Jumbangla Desk: A truck full of bricks has lost control and entered a shop in Shah Amanat Bridge area of ​​Chittagong city. It has been reported that at least two people were killed and more than 10 people were injured.

The accident happened on Monday (September 23) around 11:15 PM.

Chittagong Medical College Hospital Police Outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Nurul Alam Ashek said that 11 people were brought to the hospital with injuries in the road accident in New Bridge area. Doctors declared two of them dead. The remaining 9 have been admitted to the ward.

Eyewitnesses said that a truck loaded with bricks from Shah Amanat Setu roundabout lost control and rammed the CNG and motorcycle into the roadside shop. CNG drivers, bike riders and shopkeepers were hit by the car. At present, police and fire service personnel are carrying out rescue operations at the spot.
