Jumbangla Desk: An attempt has been made to snatch Mohammad Abdullah, chairman of the PMkhali Union Parishad of Cox's Bazar Sadar, who was arrested by the joint forces, from Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station.

On Monday (September 23), when Chairman Abdullah was brought to the custody of Sadar Police Station, thousands of supporters tried to snatch him from Sadar Police Station. At that time, there was a chase between the police and Abdullah's supporters. Later, the police chased and brought the situation under control.

Faizul Azim, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station said that PM Khali Union Parishad Chairman Mohammad Abdullah was arrested by joint forces and brought to Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station to be handed over. Abdullah's terrorist forces tried to snatch him from the police car. Later, the police chased and brought the situation under control. During this time, some policemen were injured.

He also said that legal action will be taken against those involved in the incident after seeing the CCTV camera footage.
