Jumbangla Desk: Shares of Islami Bank have reached the highest rate in the last 12 years. At 12:34 PM on Monday, shares of Islami Bank were last traded at 58 taka 30 paise. Yesterday this share transaction ended at Tk 54.30. A total of 31.10 lakh shares of the bank were traded on Sunday, worth Tk 16.29 crore. On this day, Islami Bank was at the top of the 'Top Gainer' list.

On this day, the market related people said that in April 2012, the share price of Islami Bank was above Tk 50. Its market capitalization rose by Rs 3,494 crore to Rs 8,742 crore last month.

Those concerned say that after the release of S. Alam, investors have increased interest in the shares of the country's largest private bank.
