Jumbangla Desk: Bangladesh Bank said that the current account deficit of 9 commercial banks of the country's private sector has exceeded 18 thousand crores. On Monday (September 23), this information is known from the relevant sources of the Central Bank.

The banks are:- National Bank, Fast Security Islami Bank, Social Islami Bank, Union Bank, Commerce Bank, Exim Bank, Islami Bank, Padma Bank and ICB Islami Bank.

Among the banks, five banks have completed the guarantee agreement with Bangladesh Bank to overcome the liquidity crisis. These banks can take assistance from other strong banks if they want. Where the guarantor will be the regulatory body Bangladesh Bank.
