Jumbangla Desk: An army officer was brutally killed by armed robbers and terrorists when the members of the joint forces went to raid after receiving information about a robbery at a house in Cox's Bazar.

The name of the deceased army officer is Lieutenant Tanzim Charwar Nirjan (22). Police said he was a member of the joint force's raid team in Chakaria.

Today Tuesday (24 September) this incident took place in East Maijpara of Dulahajara Union of Upazila around 3 am to 3:30 am. So far, six robber-terrorists have been arrested in this incident.

At that time, when a robber was caught, that robber stabbed the army officer Lt. Tanjim. A shot was fired at him. In this condition, he was seriously injured and taken to Chittagong Combined Military Hospital. He died there while undergoing treatment.
