Chief Adviser arrives in New York

Jumbangla Desk: The interim government's chief advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus arrived in New York, USA to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
A commercial Qatar Airways flight carrying the chief adviser and his entourage landed at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport at 10:10 p.m. (New York time) on September 23.
Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations Muhammad Abdul Muhith and Acting Ambassador of Bangladesh to the United States DM Salahuddin Mahmud received the Chief Adviser at the airport.
Earlier, the Qatar Airways commercial flight carrying the Chief Adviser and his entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 5 am on Monday.
The Chief Adviser will attend the High Level General Discussion of the 79th Session of the Assembly at the General Assembly Hall at UN Headquarters on 24 September. He will address the General Assembly session on September 27 at 10 am local time.
Chief advisor. Muhammad Yunus will meet US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the United Nations General Session in a bilateral meeting at the United Nations headquarters on Tuesday, September 24 at 11 am local time in New York.
In addition to the meeting with Joe Biden. Yunus will attend high-level bilateral meetings with several heads of government and heads of international organizations.
