Jumba Bangla Desk: A person named Ismamul Haque (16) was shot dead in Chankharpool of the capital during the anti-discrimination student movement. The court ordered former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Abdullah Al Mamun, who was arrested in the case filed in this incident, to be remanded for 4 days.

He was brought to court at around 8am on Tuesday (September 24). Later, the investigation officer of the case and Shahbag police station sub-inspector Mainul Islam Khan Pulak applied for a 10-day remand along with arresting him in this case. After the hearing, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saifuzzaman's court granted his 4-day remand.

 


It is known that a person named Mohammad Ismamul Haque was killed in the firing incident in Chankharpool on August 5. In this incident, on August 25, the deceased's elder brother Mohammad Mohibul Haq filed a murder case at Shahbag police station, mentioning the names of five people including Sheikh Hasina and many others as unknown.
