Jumbangla Desk: The court has granted a four-day remand to former IGP of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun in the case related to the shooting and killing of teenager Ismamul Haque in Chankharpool of the capital.

Today the Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka. Saifuzzaman's court granted his remand.


He was produced in the court at around 8 o'clock this morning. At that time, the investigating officer of the case, Sub-Inspector Mainul Islam Khan Pulak of Shahbagh Police Station requested a 10-day remand along with arresting him in this case.

After the hearing, the court granted his four-day remand.


During the anti-discrimination movement, a person named Mohammad Ismamul Haque was killed in firing on August 5. In this incident, on August 25, the elder brother of the victim, Mohammad Mohibul Haque, filed a murder case with Sheikh Hasina and Shahbag police station, naming five people as the plaintiff.
