Jumbangla Desk: The Meteorological Department fears that there may be rain with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour over 9 regions of the country. Along with this, the river ports of these regions have been asked to show warning signal number 1.

This was informed in a warning issued for the inland river ports of the country till 6 pm on Tuesday (September 24).


It is said that gusty or gale force winds may blow over Rajshahi, Pabna, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar districts from south or south-east at a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour. Rain or thundershowers may also occur.


Meanwhile, another weather bulletin said, the additional part of the axis of monsoon has spread over India's Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and southern parts of Bangladesh to Assam. Also Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate to active over North Bay of Bengal.

 


According to the Met Office, light to moderate rains with gusty winds or thundershowers may occur temporarily in all parts of the country. At this time, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. It is expected that this trend of stormy rain and heavy rain in all parts of the country may continue for the next few days.
