Lieutenant Tanjim is going to chase the robbers tomorrow

Jumbangla Desk: Lieutenant Tanzim Charwar Nirjan (23) died tragically after being stabbed by a group of armed robbers when he went to raid a village in Chakaria of Cox's Bazar.
This information was given in a press release sent by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the press release, today (September 24, 2024) at approximately 3 o'clock in the night, based on intelligence information, a team of Bangladesh Army quickly moved from Chakoria Army Camp after receiving information about a robbery in East Maijpara village of Dulhazara Union under Chakoria Upazila.
At around 4 AM while conducting raids in Maijpara village, a dacoit gang of 7/8 members ran away after sensing the presence of army patrols, Lt. Tanjim Charwar Nirjan (23) chased some of the dacoits. Meanwhile, the members of the dacoit gang stabbed Lt. Tanzim Charwar Nirjan in the neck and seriously injured him and he started bleeding profusely.
Lieutenant Tanzim Charwar was immediately rescued and taken to Malumghat Memorial Hospital where he was declared dead by the doctor on duty.
It may be noted that Lt. Tanzim Charwar was born in a noble Muslim family in the secluded Tangail district. This talented young army officer was commissioned in the Army Service Corps (ASC) on 08 June 2022 from Bangladesh Military Academy with the 82nd long term course after completing higher secondary from Pabna Cadet College.
It is to be noted that 01 country-made gun, 06 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the scene along with the arrest of 3 robbers. Besides, 03 more people were arrested on suspicion of dacoity.
