Lt. Tanjim's parents are distraught after losing their only son

Jumbangla Desk: Mourning is going on at the secluded house of Lt. Tanzim Charoar, who was stabbed by terrorists in Cox's Bazar's Chakria. The father is almost speechless after losing his only son, the mother is fainting again and again.

When the news of Tanjim's death spread in the area, the residents along with relatives rushed to his house in Tangail. This incident has cast a shadow of mourning on the area.

Tanjim's father Sarwar Jahan is almost speechless after losing his only son. He said he was the only breadwinner in the house. So I am helpless today. I want speedy trial and execution of this murder. Such a death should not happen to anyone else.

Meanwhile, Tanjim's mother, Najma Begum, who lost her only son, is fainting again and again. He said, I want justice for the murder of my son from the head of the government and the army chief. who were with him. Why couldn't they protect my son? I want to judge them too.

It is to be noted that the deceased army officer Tanjim is the only son of his parents. His only sister Suchi, lives in Dhaka with her husband.

Already, senior army officers from Ghatail Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment have met the family of the deceased Tanjim and expressed their condolences.

According to family sources, burial will be done in the madrasa cemetery after the funeral prayers at Boali madrasa ground today afternoon. However, Tanzim's body has not yet reached Tangail.

According to a press release sent by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), today (September 24, 2024) at approximately 3 o'clock in the night, based on intelligence information, a team of Bangladesh Army moved quickly from Chakoria Army Camp after receiving information about a robbery in East Maijpara village of Dulhazara Union under Chakoria Upazila.

At around 4 AM while conducting raids in Maijpara village, a dacoit gang of 7/8 members ran away after sensing the presence of army patrols, Lt. Tanjim Charwar Nirjan (23) chased some of the dacoits. Meanwhile, the members of the dacoit gang stabbed Lt. Tanzim Charwar Nirjan in the neck and seriously injured him and he started bleeding profusely.

Lieutenant Tanzim Charwar was immediately rescued and taken to Malumghat Memorial Hospital where he was declared dead by the doctor on duty.

Lieutenant Tanzim Charwar was commissioned into Army Service Corps (ASC) on June 8, 2022 from Bangladesh Military Academy with 82nd Long Term Course after completing Higher Secondary from Nirjan Pabna Cadet College.
