Entertainment Desk: Apart from acting, Moushumi knows how to sing well. He has already given proof of that by singing in various events as well as playback in movies. Moushumi sang on the stage again. Singer Dinat Jahan Munni was with him this time. Last Sunday, these two artists sang at the 'Summer A Festival' organized by expatriates on Alexander Avenue in Buffalo, New York.

Actress Moushumi has been in the United States for a long time. He is participating in various events organized by expatriate Bangladeshis there. Following that, he participated in the Summer A Festival. The event starts in the evening. After various formalities, Moushumi came on the stage to sing the song 'O Amar Bandhu Go Chirsathee Pathachalar' from the movie 'Kayamat to Kayamat' at 10 pm. Moushumi and Salman Shahr made their film debut in 1993 with this movie by Sohanur Rahman Sohan.


After that, Moushumi sang 'Ekhne twone Nirjane' from the movie 'Antare Antare', 'Ekhan Toh Saam Lalavan' from Qayamat to Qayamat. After finishing his singing, Moushum called musician Dinat Jahan Munni on stage. Munni started the performance with 'Oh dear, I want to be yours'. After that he performed several original songs as well as regional songs of Chittagong and Sylhet. Moushumi came on stage again during the song 'Khairun lo tor longa mathar kesh' performed by Munni. Participated in choreography. The performance of two artistes continued till 12 o'clock in the night.


Moushumi said, 'This is the first time I have participated in such a different event in the United States. I sang myself. I like the subject really differently. Being with Munni has increased this liking.'

 

Munni said, 'In the United States, there are rarely such arrangements for expatriates. Especially me and Bangladesh's favorite heroine Moushumi on the same stage—it was really a great thing.'
