Jumbangla Desk: For a few days, people's life has been suffering in the heat of Vapsa heat in several parts of the country. Among them, the heat wave is flowing over 29 districts of the country including Dhaka, said the Meteorological Office. However, the organization has given a glimpse that the heat will decrease from some places within 24 hours.

The Meteorological Office recorded the country's highest temperature of 38.5 degrees Celsius in Rangpur on Sunday (September 22). The lowest temperature of 25 degrees Celsius was recorded in Bandarban on Monday.
According to the notification of the Meteorological Office, a mild heat wave is flowing over Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Kishoreganj, Narayanganj, Jessore, Chuadanga, Feni and Sylhet districts along with Rangpur, Rajshahi and Sylhet divisions.
It further informed that a low pressure has formed over the West Central Bay of Bengal and nearby areas. Besides, Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal. In this situation, light to moderate rain with gusty winds or rain with thunder is forecast in many places of Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and some places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Monday. At this time, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. This trend of thunderstorms and heavy rains may continue for a few days.
In this situation, the Meteorological Office says that the mild heatwave flowing over 29 districts of the country may subside within the next 24 hours. At this time, the temperature may drop slightly across the country. Apart from this, the day and night temperature may drop by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius across the country on Tuesday (September 24). Day and night temperatures may drop on Wednesday (September 25).
